OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – CROFTON JUNIOR SCHOOL

Our office administrator at Crofton Juniors has had the opportunity to move on to a new and exciting new venture at another Trust school, which means we now need to recruit an exceptional individual to join our team.

 

The ideal candidate will almost certainly be working in a school office already and will be looking to further their school career.   Crofton is a very large, six form entry school, so they will need to be prepared for an incredibly busy environment where you can never be quite certain what the day might bring!   There is a very supportive administrative team, always willing to help one another.

 

As well as your excellent administrative and technical skills, key to this role are flexibility and a “can do” attitude.   A keen sense of humour is essential!

LEARNING MENTOR – CROFTON JUNIOR SCHOOL

 

Our Junior School Team are looking for a friendly outgoing individual to join our dedicated team of education providers.

 

We are looking to recruit a Learning Mentor from our already experienced staff that could undertake the following:

  • Liaise with the leadership team and teachers on the requirements of children specifically with additional needs
  • Work with the leadership team on behaviour issues, use restorative justice with children and liaise with parents where necessary.
  • Identify those children who would benefit from a friendship group and monitor, support and encourage children within this group
  • Be able to undertake specific testing for dyslexia, speed of processing, working memory and phonological awareness, report these findings back to managers, teachers and parents
  • Help to gather evidence for identified children for access arrangements for KS2 SATs using NCA tools
  • Support the running of an intervention group for those children with autism, and support other staff in modelling learning activities within the classroom
  • Organise the Midday Meals supervisor rota’s and meet with them regularly to up-date them on any particular problem areas or children having difficulties
  • Cover classes within years 3-6 as and when required

TEACHING ASSISTANT – CROFTON INFANT/JUNIOR SCHOOL

 

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to start in September 2019 to join a dedicated team of education providers.

 

The successful candidates will be either a class or a one to one Teaching Assistant, this is fixed term for 1 year.  You will work within and outside the classroom as directed by the class teacher.

 

We require one full time TA and one part-time TA

 

You should have good behaviour management and communication skills and be able to adapt activities towards child’s learning abilities.

 

You must be a friendly, attentive, outgoing individual and enjoy working with children and ensuring that they meet their potential.  Previous experience working within a school environment is a must.

MID-DAY SUPERVISORS – Infant/Junior School

 

Required to start in September 2019 for one session per day [one hour] during term time only, to supervise children with complex physical needs during their lunchtime break [12.00 – 1.25pm].

 

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team of caring and dedicated staff.  The role involves supervising a child on a one to one basis with medical needs and assisting in complying with the needs of the child’s care plan.

 

We are looking for attentive and friendly applicants who enjoys working with children.  Previous experience within a similar role is essential.

 

Due to the role being funded we are only able to offer a fixed term contract for one year, this will be reassessed prior to the 2020/2021 academic year
